I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Narrative Therapy. I have experience helping individuals, couples and families to effectively manage a variety of issues including depression & anxiety, divorce, grief and loss, and historical trauma. I offer an anti-oppressive approach to therapy, that is non-judgemental and trauma-informed. I look forward to supporting you in your journey.
The focus of therapy is often to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. This can be achieved by providing a safe space for you to process life events and stresses, and customizing a therapeutic plan to support your needs. In a safe and caring manner, I will help you address your concerns and reach your healing goals.
My professional goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to reach your goals for your life. As a mother, partner and community member, I am familiar with many of the stresses and joys of marriage, parenthood and life. I will respectfully and safely support and challenge your views while in therapy, as a way for you to rebuild and strengthen your skills that are unique to you. With my help, you will find positive change.
The COVID-19 pandemic for many people has been a phenomenon of resurfacing trauma. There have been new struggles being faced with unpredictability and loss. We have learned to exist through this challenging time. Lets find a way to ignite your goal for a healthier you!

Relationship counselling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions can be held with individuals or as a couple. I offer a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
